Jennifer Goldring

Jennifer Goldring is an award-winning photographer, poet, and writer based in St. Louis, Missouri.

She has carried a camera for more than three decades, drawn to moments most people pass without noticing — a heron standing motionless in the shallows, light breaking across winter branches, a weathered wall that suddenly feels like a portrait.

Her years as a writer have shaped the way she photographs the world. She believes a great photograph is its own kind of poetry — an invitation to pause, look closely, and notice what others might otherwise overlook.

Jennifer's photography has been featured in a solo exhibition, and has appeared in The Sun, on book covers, in numerous journals, and on author websites and marketing campaigns. She is the recipient of the 2023 Dogwood Poetry Prize, and her writing has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies.

When she isn't wandering a trail with a camera or writing poems, she can be found listening for birds, making pottery, or spending time with her three dogs and two grown children.
